Industrial environments contain more data than we often have visibility into. Wireless sensors provide a cost-effective way to add a second layer of data collection, complementing existing automation and instrumentation without the need for expensive wiring. This keynote explores how sensors, wireless networks and gateways can be combined to extend data visibility in a secure, scalable and practical way. The goal: gain new insights into machines, processes and assets—while keeping infrastructure changes to a minimum.
