Ir Jaap Groot is an experienced international executive with strong entrepreneurial skills who has created momentum, revenue growth and leadership in the IoT & M2M marketplace through outstanding commercial and business development skills and through creating relationships with industry leaders that are centered on solving strategic business issues.    Jaap holds a master’s degree (Ir) from the Technical University in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and he has founded, built and sold businesses during his career. Over the past 25 years Jaap worked for Roadshow (now Descartes), Qualcomm, MiX Telematics, Sigfox and Semtech, and has been driving Industry Alliances as Vice President Europe at the LoRa Alliance and Co-Chair of the IoT Workgroup at the Wireless Broadband Alliance. He currently is the CEO of Ignion in Barcelona.
