AI features are starting to make their way into everyday development tools, including in embedded software workflows. This talk presents ongoing work in Eclipse Theia to integrate AI-assisted capabilities such as code suggestions, navigation aids, and contextual actions. We'll discuss what's already available, what we're learning from early adopters, and where these tools might bring value (or friction) in the hands of experienced developers working on complex systems.
