With over 5 billion devices shipping annually, Bluetooth® technology is the most widely deployed wireless standard worldwide. According to ABI Research, 7.7 billion Bluetooth devices are projected to ship by 2029, reflecting a 9% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years.

The Bluetooth technology roadmap is foundational to the ongoing evolution and growth of the globally interoperable Bluetooth ecosystem. In this presentation, Damon Barnes, Director of technical marketing, will provide an overview of recent major enhancements like Bluetooth® Channel Sounding and key upcoming projects, including the latest on Bluetooth® High Data Throughput, Bluetooth® Ultra Low Latency HID, and an initiative to expand operation of Bluetooth technology in higher frequency band.
