Since Geoffrey Hinton introduced the forward-forward algorithms as an alternative to Backpropagation (BP), forward-only adaptation has emerged as a prominent and promising research track within BP-free learning. My presentation primarily focuses on forward-only algorithms in terms of resource efficiency.
